This project involved a team of over 6 different creatives to build a brand new website built for the latest mobile phones and tablets with fun and tasteful animations using HTML 5, rich food photography, and quality design.

The site is in it’s final stages, and will soon launch to the public, but we wanted to share some Pita Love with a behind the scenes video for all the Naf Naf fans to enjoy.

For all of us at Le Cape it’s been quite exciting to take this project from simple ideas, to a fully interactive site.

Jon and I have been super busy booking our summer and fall for this year, and surprisingly for 2013. Advertising at CS Brides Magazine has been really successful for us as a company. Our brides have succeeded our expectations for this year. We have had the chance to assist to numerous luxurious events in the city, and have met wonderful brides and amazing vendors left and right.

Behind the cameras, we have been working on our new site specially for brides. It’s very easy to navigate, and inspiring to look at. We have also added a brand new feature to our packages. It’s the new Interactive iPad Wedding Albums. This is a custom product only available for those brides with both photo + cinema needs/wants. It’s an innovative way of sharing not only your wedding pictures, but a way for them to read, hear, and see your love story, all spread around several pages, with twitter feeds, Facebook statuses, engagement photos, love stories, wedding photos, mini interactive videos of the first dance, the first kiss, and lots more! Let them hear your story, between fun interactive pages!

During our consultation with them, we brought up the trendy idea of having the bride and groom see each other before the wedding, and since they were more traditional we used that idea a twist. What if we had the Bride and Groom meet each other before the wedding, but this time the groom is blindfolded so that he still would be surprised at the wedding. They loved that idea, so we took them to the top floor of their hotel and had a pre-wedding session with the help of their bridesmaids. Before the shoot, the groom told Jon how nervous he was, but when he heard his fiancé’s voice, that changed everything and it gave us the opportunity to capture how they felt in that moment. When we showed their photos edited the same day at their reception, their friends couldn’t believe the day that the bride and groom had. They laughed, cried and enjoyed this surprise.

A couple of weeks ago, we met Debbi and Curtis, and their beautiful mother who surprised the couple by having us at their wedding as their Cinematographers. We had a lot of fun with all the guests that flew from all over the world to celebrate with the both of them. They had the cutest ring bearer and flower girl! We decided to interview them, and got to laugh with them as they danced like crazy during the reception!

We call it a blessing…

We have been wanting to post some photos of us two behind the scenes. Working together as husband and wife has been an amazing experience to the both of us. We have seen each other grow artistically, and we have seen our passion for photography grow. So, if you ever wondered what would it be like to live together, and work together in the same place… let me tell you, it has been the best experience in our entire lives!

We both have a unique style and a unique perspective to each project. It is fun to see how two people can see the same thing completely different. The biggest challenge to us has been to trust on each others creativity, and to somehow meld them together, in what today we call Le Cape Studios.

Anyways, here is just a preview on what is like to work together at Le Cape.

A few days back, I had the opportunity to join more than 1500 ladies at Calvary Church, on their celebration of Girlfriends Night Out in Naperville, IL. They all came together to enjoy of a hilarious show with well-known comedian Anita Renfroe.

Anita has been featured on Good Morning America, Dr. Phil, CBS “The Early Show”, Fox News and Inside Edition.

We had the privilege of meeting several professional polo players from Jamaica, Argentina and the United States. And became familiar with the very challenging game of polo. It was a very fun day as long as we kept out of the rain that started coming down at the end of the match.
